Sentiment is perfect for today !!!!

Here we have a canvas I designed back in July but left in draft sorry Lindsay !!!

Here we have a canvas I have created it was great fun to do....

I  created it using some of Lindsay's fabulous stamps you can find lots of Digital Designed stamps HERE.Check out Lindsay's Blog for all the latest news.

I began by covering the canvas with Pebeo Black Gesso. The Fairy was stamped and heat embossed and painted with Pebeo Dyna Paint.I stamped the flowers directly onto the canvas and again painted them using Dyna Paint it gives fabulous effects which is quite tricky to see in this image. For sparkle I have added a touch of Glitter. After stamping the leaves I decided to add a little paint to the edges and turn them into funky flowers i think it works really well.

Meet Gregory

Good afternoon everyone here is my final DT project for today. Below we have Gregory he is a digital image available to purchase from Lindsay Mason. Please make sure you also check out the fabulous Blog to.

I began by sloshing some Gesso on the canvas it makes it much easier and primes the surface ready for mediums. I heated this till it was dry .I painted the canvas with Aquatints and created the moon and snow using Gesso .I then added some of Lindsay's clear stamps adding some dyna paint to create buds to the flowers.Gregory has been coloured using Spectrum Noir Pencils.I have added some glossy accents to  make his boots shiny. To create the texture on his jeans I wet the card slightly then patted it before adding the pencil it kind of creates a resist as the pencils are wax based hence the texture finish

Don't throw those spuds away !!!

Hi everyone just thought I would share my experiment with you all.Recently I brought a huge sack of potatoes thinking we could eat healthy and have lots of Jacket Spuds. It turned out there wasn't many big spuds in the sack.So we baked what we could and they got left and started to sprout. So I decided to peel what was left which I have to admit was LOTS.I made a ton of mash and decided to try making roast potatoes(can't stand those shop ones).I par boiled them then put them on a tray and dry roasted them chilled and froze them.I have reheated them in the oven at 200 fan from frozen and defrosted for 20 mins and they are fantastic.Saves loads of time when you want a quick roast dinner  mid week give it a go
