Meet Gregory
Good afternoon everyone here is my final DT project for today. Below we have Gregory he is a digital image available to purchase from Lindsay Mason. Please make sure you also check out the fabulous Blog to.
I began by sloshing some Gesso on the canvas it makes it much easier and primes the surface ready for mediums. I heated this till it was dry .I painted the canvas with Aquatints and created the moon and snow using Gesso .I then added some of Lindsay's clear stamps adding some dyna paint to create buds to the flowers.Gregory has been coloured using Spectrum Noir Pencils.I have added some glossy accents to make his boots shiny. To create the texture on his jeans I wet the card slightly then patted it before adding the pencil it kind of creates a resist as the pencils are wax based hence the texture finish

Lindsay Mason (Journal Page)
Here is below is a Journal Page created using a Digital image called Jilly from Lindsay Mason.
I created the page by beginning with a coat of Gesso I used a heat gun as I wanted to get going with the project.I used red paint as the base and added hearts using a stencil again colouring with paint. For the giant heart I used a stencil and pearly paste.I coloured Jilly using markers and glitter pens I also decoupaged her so she pops off the page it's quite to see that in the photograph though.
Find Jilly here

Hi everyone here is another image of the brand new Art Colouring Book brought to you by Katy Sue Designs.
As with the previous two books it's stunning. The paper is superb quality and the book is easy to use as it's spiral bound you don't struggle like you do with a book with a spine.
The images are so lovely the artist Sandra Rushton is very talented it's a pleasure to colour her work.
I have used a really good range of mediums including water colour on my samples. You can see my finished designs on Create and Craft today at 1pm.
This image has been water coloured using Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers Spectrum Noir Pencils
I hope you have managed to order your copy of the new book and the previous ones if you missed out last time.
